Frank Dorrington, Owner

  

Frank worked in law enforcement for over 20 years  after retiring  he decided to open his own consulting business. So in 2005, we as a company have grown! Since opening his roofing business he has made a name for himself by branching out as a Project Manager in new home construction and renovations. 

​

During the past few years has completed the ‘Better Built Homes’ course through Atlantic Home Warranty, taken the ‘Shingle Master’ training courses through CertainTeed, and recently participated in the Professional Roofers Advisory Council in Halifax. We are also is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau.

Frank grew up in Westville, Nova Scotia. He was the middle of five children in a  close knit family, and was always involved in community activities. 

​

He graduated from UPEI, Business and Administration 1985. 

​

Met his wife during his time at UPEI, married in 1986, raised two children, and is now meddling with two grandchildren. He and Carolyn just celebrated 31 years of happy marriage. Currently residing in Fall River Nova Scotia and has spent many years coaching hockey, soccer, and carting his children around to multiple events.

Brian Dorrington, Project Site Manager

Brian an electrician by trade has branched out of his field and joined Frank as a project site manager. He's recently passed all his qualification for CertainTeed training and is in full swing learning the business from his father, one day to take over more responsibilities and let Frank "actually" retire. He's young, ambitious and eager to learn more! His ability to interact with the customers and crews in a positive manner helps the team be efficient and reliable when completing residential projects.

Brian grew up in Fall River, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Lockview High in 2008, and went on to get his qualification to become an electrician. He currently resides in Sackville, Nova Scotia and is in full swing as a full time employee of FD consulting Team.

 

 

Carolyn Dorrington, Administration

Frank's wife, retired as well, now she's the employee who keeps the business up to date and running smoothly. She was born and raised in PEI where she met Frank and they made their home here in Fall River, NS!

Kailah Dorrington, Online marketing/maintenance

 

After moving home from out west, Kailah decided to jump on the family train and help the FD team out with starting up the online presence. Still learning, she's in charge of running all the marketing, maintenance to our website and Facebook page! Also, in charge of market data analysis, and getting our business noticed in the community! 

 

Kailah currently lives in Fall River, with 2 beautiful little girls, and works from the home while her husband travels out of town for work.
